Privacy Policy
The short version: we never ask you for anything, so there is nothing of yours for us to lose.
What you never hand over
There is no sign-up, no comment box and no mailing list on this site. That means no name, no address, no payment card and no email exists on our side — not because we delete them, but because they are never collected.
What a visit leaves behind
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs so the site stays reachable and so we can tell which pages are being read. A log line holds an IP address, a browser string and the page requested. We keep these briefly for troubleshooting and then they age out.
Cookies and what runs here
Nothing of ours is set on your machine. One outside service is switched on: Google Analytics 4, which counts page views and tells us roughly which guides get read. Google sets the _ga / _ga_* cookies itself and reads its own identifiers under its own policy; the numbers reach us without a name attached. The Google Privacy Policy is the notice that applies to it, and the usual browser extensions that block analytics work here as they do anywhere else. If we ever add another provider, it gets named on this page before it goes live.
Words that quietly mean a lot
"Cookies", "logs" and "third parties" are not decoration on this page. Cookies are small files a site asks your browser to keep; logs are a server's own diary of requests; a third party is a company we do not control that loads something inside a page, like a video player or an ad. Whenever one of those is in play here, we say which one and hand you the way to turn it off.
Following a link away from here
Buy buttons and video embeds point at other companies. The moment you follow one, you are inside their rules, not ours. We cannot delete anything on a store's behalf, and we have no way to see what it holds.
Asking us about your data
Use the address on the contact page. If a log entry that mentions you still falls inside our short retention window, we will tell you what it contains and remove it if you ask.
