About Cozy Gamer
We play these games the slow way, and we write them down the same way. Nobody here is paid by a studio, and no studio has seen a page before you have.
Cozy Gamer is a notes site for farming sims, life sims and the wider cozy shelf. A new crop sim ships nearly every week, and most coverage tells you it is relaxing without telling you what a season actually costs you. We try to answer the second question: how long a day runs, what you can plant when, whether progress carries across saves, and whether the game respects the time you give it.
What we cover, and what we skip
We stay on games where tending something is the point — farming, homesteading, village life, gentle exploration, the occasional management sim that plays like a garden. We pass on anything we would have to fake an opinion about. If we have not played enough of a game to say something useful, it does not get a page.
How a page gets written
We start with the store listing, the developer's own posts and the patch notes, because those are the only places a date or a price is actually authoritative. From there we play, and we note what the game itself tells you. Every page lists what it drew on. When a claim rests on a single source, we say so on the page instead of smoothing it over.
When we are wrong
Tell us the page and the line. We go back to the sources, and then either fix the wording or pull the claim. A page that promises more than the evidence supports is a defect here, and we treat it like one.
What we are not
We did not make any of these games and we are not connected to the people who did. Titles, art and screenshots belong to their owners. We are players with a notebook.
